Great Location

Great location! Near the train station, so it was easy to catch the train to our southern destination after our time in Rome. The metro doesn't have many stops, but we used it to get to the northern part of the city. Great metropolitan area to be in with many restaurants within walking distance. When we arrived early in the morning our room was not ready, but they have an area upstairs where we took our bags to change and freshen up - then they held our bags for the day until we returned later. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good! We would stay again!

FELT LIKE A SAUNA, NOT A GREAT AREA ESPECIALLY FOR SOLO TRAVELLERS

Nice staff but we would not stay here again for the following reasons: 1) FELT LIKE A SAUNA- They had switched off the A/C control in the rooms and on top of that they had heating. It felt like a sauna to us and we could not sleep at all. I spoke to the staff in the reception desk about it and they suggested that I open a window as they did not have control of the A/C either. 2)HARD TO SLEEP- It was a bit noisy. We had to open a window as mentioned above because it was super hot with the heating and no a/c control in the rooms, so sleeping was very challenging. 3) AREA NOT GREAT- The location is good but the area not so much. It is right across from the central train station, some good restaurants in the area but we saw a lot of homeless people. If you are travelling alone, I would not recommend staying here. I personally would not feel safe walking alone in this area.

Nice rooms but no facilities and overpriced

The price is too high for the standard. This isn’t a 4 star hotel- it’s 3 star charging 4 star prices but with no facilities. The rooms were spacious and comfortable but the hallways are shabby. The reception area is tiny and along with the breakfast room are the only parts of the hotel apart from the rooms. The breakfast was very ordinary For this price you should be looking elsewhere.

The worst ever stayed hotel in my Europe business trips in 40 years

W L on Oct 24, 2023

This hotel is the worst I ever stayed in my trips in Europe. I had a very horrific experience with my recent stay at this hotel, which I have never encountered before. I booked for 3 nights at this hotel for my holiday to Rome with my friend. I hope to write here so you know what you will expect. The rate was around EUR3xx per night, which I concluded was not worth the money, and the hotel does not seem to be a 4-star rating as indicated by most websites. After we checked in to the hotel, my first impression is the size of the room, it appears to be around 15sq meter, which is much smaller than 20sq meter as described in the website of the room type I booked. We also felt that there was an unpleasant smell in the room, and we suspected this was due to excessive chemicals used by staff of the hotel. The WiFi of the room didn’t work well as the WiFi were dropping from time to time. During bedtime, we found out that the room temperature was very low, and we wished to change the temperature through the air conditioning control panel. Unfortunately, the temperature was set at a cap, and we were unable to change it. We then reported the issue to the staff at the front desk and asked for his help. Unfortunately, the staff said he was not able to help with anything. We felt odd with his response, and he was unable to provide us with any kind of assistance. We were extremely frustrated and disappointed at that moment. As we did not want to ruin our holiday, we decided to leave the hotel the next morning. In addition, the area near the hotel was quite dirty and noisy, albeit it is very close to the Roma Termini. i believe it is the only reason to justify the price of this hotel. Customer service was poor as I felt the staff did not have an appropriate customer service attitude to our request. I will give a rating of 0 to this hotel, if there is a choice I could rate.
